PROGRAMME

Programme

The conference programme is available as a pdf-file from the below link.

The content of the provided programme file is identical to the program booklet given out to the conference participants. Changes to the program that were made last minute prior and during the conference are not included.

Oral presentation upload instructions

The presentations should be brought on a USB flash drive to the speaker ready room at least half an hour before the start of the session. The presentation upload point is located near the registration desk. Please utilize the upload point to also make sure it is working properly. As a backup, it is recommended that you bring your presentation slides also as a PDF-file.

We encourage the speakers and session chairs to test the presentations during the break before the session to ensure that it works properly with the session room computer, especially if the presentation contains videos or animations.

Poster presentation instructions

Posters can be put up starting from the morning of their presentation day, and they should be attached before the start of the poster session. Poster placement instructions can be found on-site with a map of the poster presentation area. Poster stands and equipment needed to hang the posters are available on-site. Presenters are expected to attend their poster during the session. Please remember to collect your poster after the presentation session if you intend to keep it. Any poster left hanging at the end of the day will be collected and disposed of by the organizers.

The presentation lenght is 12+3 min (12 min for presentation and 3 min for questions). Note that the session chairs will cut the presentation short if it takes longer than 15 min. No overtime will be given!

The lecture rooms are equipped with PC laptop computer (Windows 10), data/video projector and large screens. The software installed on the computer includes MS Office 2019, Open office, Adobe Reader, VLC-player, Teams, Zoom etc.

If you must use your on computer, you are responsible for bringing the needed adapters (HDMI, DP & VGA available) and for testing that everything works before the presentation. Any troubleshooting needed will only shorten your presentation time.

For helpful tips for preparing your presentation you can check this list.

Poster presentation format

Please prepare your posters in A0 size and in portrait/vertical orientation (the poster should be taller than it is wide).

Organizers recommend that you print your poster before attending the conference. There will not be a poster printing service at the venue. Small printing shops can be found in the city center, but you rely on those at your own risk.
